Evens Jabouin

Evens Jabouin is a Ph.D. student under the direction of Nancy Green (and Pap Ndiaye). He is working on Haitian immigrants in Florida since the refugees crisis of 1980, putting it in the larger chronological frame of Haitian migrations. He is specifically interested in migratory trajectories, from the home country to the host country, paying attention to all the transit points. Such an approach allows for the study of the role of Haitian community networks across borders.
