Nicolas Martin-Breteau

Nicolas Martin-Breteau is doing a Ph.D. with François Weil. He is working on a social history of sport in the African-American community. He is particularly interested in sports' social and political roles, in the history of gender and the body, in the construction of cultural identities, in the history of racial relations, and in civil rights movements.
