Pap Ndiaye's first worked on the history of the business world and on the history of technology (Nylon and Bombs, Johns Hopkins University Press, 2007). His current research is on the discourse and practices of racial discrimination in life insurance companies throughout the 20th century, as well as the condition of blacks in the U.S. and in France. He is a member of the editorial board of L'Histoire.
