Amit Chaudhuri discusses his writing, his latest books and more with Tirthankar Chanda
Amit Chaudhuri (born 15 May 1962) is a novelist, poet, essayist, literary critic, editor, singer and music composer. He was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2009. He is a professor of Contemporary Literature at the University of East Anglia. His books have been translated into French by Simone Manceau.
Tirthankar Chanda, born in Pondicherry, is a literary journalist. He writes for Jeune Afrique, MFI, Le Monde diplomatique, Siècle 21. He also teaches at Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (INALCO).
