The international workshop “Gender and Politics in Contemporary Turkey” features the most recent research in the domain of women’s political representation and the transformation of the gender regime in Turkey. The workshop is spearheaded by Cetobac-EHESS, Yale and Charles University and takes place on Zoom, 16^th and 17^th May 2022. It is launched by the keynote speech delivered by Professor Yeşim Arat from Boğaziçi University. Junior as well as established researchers will present their papers in three thematic panels:

• Women & Representative Politics
• Gender Regime in Turkey
• Intersectionality and Social Movements in Turkey
