Christian Fröhlich

Christian Fröhlich is an Assistant Professor at the School of Sociology at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia. He is invited by Françoise Daucé (CERCEC). He has a Doctorate in Sociology from the University of Leipzig in Germany and was a research associate at Södertörn University in Sweden. His research mainly concerns civil society development with regard to marginalized groups, as well as civic activism and protest in urban space. Recent publications have appeared in East European Politics, International Journal of Sociology and Social Policy, and The Sociological Quarterly. He is also one of the co-editors of a volume on Radical Left Movements in Europe.
